How to Put a Spider Comb In

A spider comb, also known as an accordion or stretch comb, is a stretchy hairband with comb-like teeth that is worn around the entire head. They are ideal for sweeping the hair off of your face on the go, or enhancing elegant hairstyles. Typically made of plastic and oh so affordable, a spider comb is easily fastened in your hair for a simple yet sleek style.

Instructions

Spray tangle-prone hair with a detangling spray. This will prevent the spider comb from getting caught in the hair or forming knots throughout the day.

Brush your hair back while smoothing out any tangles.

Unhook the spider comb by removing the end of the band from the adjoining loop.

Wrap the spider comb around your neck like a necklace, and place the hook through the loop again.

Direct the pointed comb side upward toward your head.

Pull the comb up and slide it underneath the hair at the edge of the hairline.

Push the comb behind the ears until all of your hair has been swept off of your face.
